Verbs
setMouseDelay- set the mouse delay factor
setTypingDelay- set the typing delay factor
setCaseSensitive- specify whether name matching is case sensitive
setCompleteMatch- specify whether all characters must be matched
setForcedYield- force an application to yield control to Player
setMenuSelectionLocation- advanced feature: specifies mouse location for chooseMenu
Notes
- setCaseSensitive( ) and setCompleteMatch( ) apply to all name comparisons (menus, dialog items, custom items, windows). By default, both settings are false. (They do not affect modifiers, keys, attributes and misc. constants, which are internal to Frontier.)
- As noted in its description, setForcedYield( ) is often required when a dialog calls up a sub-dialog (and doesn't allow Player to get control to handle the sub-dialog). It should be used only where required, since it slows down the Macintosh.
